Children with cancer at the Hematology-Oncology Department at the Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv received an exciting surprise this week in the form of a special Hanukkah celebration.

MK Yaakov Litzman (United Torah Judaism) and the director-general of the hospital, Prof. Roni Gamzu participated in the event, which was organized by the Rachashei Lev organization.

The children watched the lighting of Hanukkah candles and enjoyed the performance of the military rabbinate band and the chief cantor of the IDF, Lt. Col. Shai Abramson, which was conducted by Ophir Sobol.

The mother of one child who was hospitalized in the Hematoogy-Oncology Department told Arutz Sheva that the entire event was exciting and made the children very happy for Hanukkah. The mother thanked the medical staff at Ichilov, the staff of the Rachashei Lev organization and the soldiers from the military rabbinate.
