The Civil Administration in Judea and Samaria issued a detailed plan for a new neighborhood to be constructed for the former residents of Migron, which was destroyed in 2012. The plan will go into effect within 15 days.

The neighborhood will be part of the existing town of Kochav Yaakov in Samaria.

The residents of Migron responded to the announcement by saying: "After five years of repeated promises and unfulfilled government decisions, we are finally seeing a significant step by the State of Israel to redress the injustice caused to the evacuees of Migron, a correction we would not have reached today without a stubborn struggle on our part."

"However, it should be remembered that this is only the beginning of the most crucial stage - the phase of the actual implementation of the groundwork and the construction of the houses on it. We expect the State of Israel, the government, and the prime minister to act with all their might to bring about the beginning of the work and the actual construction of the settlement as quickly as possible," the residents added.
