A 13-year-old boy was injured on Thursday afternoon when a passing car drove into him in Jerusalem.
Magen David Adom paramedic Hezi Tzvi said, "When we arrived, a 13-year-old boy was lying unconscious on the road. He suffered from severe injuries to multiple bodily systems. We administered first aid at the scene and stopped the bleeding. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition, unconscious and breathing with assistance."
"Civilians who were at the scene said he had been hit by a passing car."
A short time afterwards, a truck rammed into a 7-year-old riding on his scooter in Ramle. MDA treated the boy and took him to Assaf Harofeh Hospital in serious condition and suffering injuries to multiple bodily systems.
MDA ambucycle paramedic Efraim Aharonov, who was first to arrive at the scene adn who treated the boy, said, "In the middle of the road was a 7-year-old who had been struck by a truck while driving his scooter. He was conscious and suffered injuries to multiple systems."
"We administered first aid at the scene, and he was taken by ambulance to Assaf Harofeh Hospital."
