Dozens of right-wing activists demonstrated Sunday evening near the entrance to Jerusalem to protest against a recent string of administrative detention orders issued against right-wing activists and members of the so-called "hilltop youth."

Police arrested three female demonstrators who attempted to block the road and disrupt traffic.

Attorney Itamar Ben-Gvir, who represents the girls said that the policemen acted violently against the demonstrators. In a video of the arrests, police can be seen twisting the arm of one of the girls without any apparent provocation.

"This is a false arrest and it is inconceivable that the police act so brutally and violently against minors," Ben-Gvir said.

The right-wing activists promised that they would return to demonstrate again at the same location. We will not sit quietly until the persecution of the heroes of the hills and the activists for the people of Israel is stopped."
