A woman from southern Israel was arrested Thursday evening after she allegedly threw her one-year old son out of a moving vehicle.
According to the initial investigation, the suspect was riding in a car being driven by a relative.
During the drive, near the entrance to Beer Sheva, the driver noticed the mother throwing her son out of the car. The driver immediately pulled over and stopped the car. After he found the injured child, the driver evacuated him to Soroka Hospital in Beer Sheva.
The child has been listed in moderate condition.
After police were notified of the incident, officers took the mother into custody for questioning.
