The massive fire in London’s Grenfell Tower apartment complex which claimed the lives of at least 79 was the result of a refrigerator short circuit in one of the apartments, according to London Police.
Police said they are considering the possibility of advancing manslaughter charges, noting that the building’s insulation and tiles did not meet safety requirements.
150 apartments erupted in flames and were destroyed completely as a result of the fire.
