
A woman in her 60s was found dead in a hotel room in Tel Aviv Tuesday morning, while a man in his late 60s to early 70s is in serious condition after being found unconscious in the same room.
The two, who had been staying at the Renaissance Hotel in Tel Aviv, were found unconscious in their room Tuesday morning and were treated by emergency medical teams after the discovery was made.
MDA emergency first responders were called to the hotel at 8:30 Tuesday morning after the couple was found unconscious. Paramedics were forced to declare the woman dead at the scene, while the man was evacuated in serious condition. Witnesses say the man was bleeding from open wounds on his limbs.
The two were found just days after another couple was found dead in an Eilat hotel room in an apparent double suicide. On Sunday, former haredi journalist Baruch Indig and his girlfriend, Odelia Bechar left a suicide note on the desk of their hotel room.
