The United Nations is poised to publish a new anti-Israel report, blasting the Jewish state for its presence in Judea and Samaria, which it dubs the “Israeli occupation”, and the existence and growth of Jewish communities in the area.

According to Breitbart News, which claims to have obtained a copy of the new UN report, the document singles out Israel for condemnation, accusing the Jewish state of violating the Fourth Geneva Convention, violating humanitarian and human rights laws, and conducting “extrajudicial executions” of terrorists.

The report, drafted by the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia on behalf of United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres, lambasts Israel not only for what it calls the “occupation of Palestinian territory”, but also the “occupied Syrian Golan”.

“Israeli practices and policies in the occupied Palestinian territory and the occupied Syrian Golan violate fundamental provisions of international humanitarian and human rights law,” the report reads in part, according to Breitbart. “Certain Israeli practices may amount to forcible displacement of the protected population, a grave violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention.”

Among the practices the report claims may violate the Fourth Geneva Convention is the refusal by Israel to immediately return the bodies of terrorists killed during attacks on Israelis, something the report calls “collective punishment”.

The soon-to-be released document also claims Israel employs “discriminatory policies and practices, use of force that has been deemed excessive, and restrictions on the freedom of movement, including the closure on Gaza, settlement expansion, destruction of property and the exploitation of natural resources in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and the occupied Syrian Golan.”

In the report, the UN takes aim at Jews living in Judea and Samaria, demanding a “cessation of settlement and settlement-related activity,” and even “accountability” for what it claims are “the illegal actions perpetrated by Israeli settlers”.

The UN report also calls for Israel to allow greater freedom of movement for Druze living in the Israeli Golan into Syria – despite the ongoing civil war in Syria and the terrorist threat emanating from Israel’s northern neighbor.
