Members of the Knesset Land of Israel Caucus published an open letter to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu Sunday following what it considers alarming messages from Washington before the Prime Minister's meeting with US President Donald Trump this week.

The letter was signed by the leaders of the lobby, MKs Yoav Kish and Bezalel Smotrich, as well as Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely and Deputy Defense Minister Rabbi Eli Ben-Dahan, Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Environmental Protection Yaron Mazuz, and MKs Yoav Kish, Mickey Zohar, Nurit Koren, Nava Boker, Yehuda Glick, Amir Ohana, Shuli Mualem-Rafaeli, Nissan Slomiansky, and Moti Yogev.

The letter reads: "After eight hard years, in which you stood up for the interests of the State of Israel regarding the 'settlements' and national security, you now have to seize the opportunity provided by the entry of the new US administration, and we support you in the passing of the historic Regulation Law and the renewal of construction in Judea and Samaria."

"Last week, in part because of pressure from Arab states and other organizations, the administration sent alarming messages regarding the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria and the inalienable right of the State of Israel to build and develop the Land of Israel.

"In light of these dangers, and in preparation for your expected meeting with President Trump, we support you in your efforts to prevent the establishment of an Arab terrorist state in the Land of Israel, and to stand for freedom, prosperity and building of communities throughout Judea and Samaria. Finally, we wish you much success on your journey to the United States on behalf of the people of Israel, the State of Israel and the Land of Israel."
