The Security Cabinet met Sunday evening, following the terrorist ramming attack in the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood of Jerusalem in which four soldiers were murdered and a further 15 were wounded.

Housing Minister Yoav Galant (Kulanu) told Army Radio that the Cabinet should discuss ways to harshly punish terrorists and their supporters. "The demolition of homes, the expulsion of families, the revocation of identity cards of all the partners in this regard. That must be the price [for terrorism]."

Galant referred to the resistance of the Attorney General towards the demolition of the homes of terrorists who carried out attacks against Israeli citizens. ''The legislature and the law should help the country to exist. It is our duty to make sure that whoever fights against the State of Israel and receives social security from the State of Israel is not here [anymore]. Not him, and not his family. Don't send them to Gaza, but rather to Syria."

"I [say] deal harshly with those who come to kill our children and to kill us. There will not be an incident like this [again]. We will utterly cripple the terrorism."

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu stated earlier that the terrorist behind today's attack was inspired by ISIS.
