A female terrorist tried to carry out a stabbing attack at the Shaked checkpoint in northern Samaria, Sunday evening. She was arrested and handcuffed by security forces at the scene.

A military policewoman was scratched in the shoulder by the knife during the scuffle with security forces. There were no other reports of casualties.

The terrorist was brought in for questioning by security forces.

Last Thursday a 26-year-old man was stabbed in the A-Tur neighborhood in east Jerusalem. The man, a yeshiva student had left the cemetery on the Mount of Olives and was on his way on foot toward a bus stop. He was stabbed by an Arab terrorist with a screwdriver. The terrorist escaped.

The injured yeshiva student boarded a but that was in the area and traveled to a nearby police station where he got off the bus and reported the incident.

Policemen administered first aid to the yeshiva student and called MDA. Additional security forces were also called and a search for the terrorist began. It is not known whether he was found until this time.
