Hundreds of new houses in Jerusalem, Ma'ale Adumim

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu approves plans to build 760 housing units in Ma'ale Adumim and Jerusalem.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman (Yisrael Beytenu) confirmed plans tonight (Sunday) to build 760 new housing units in Ma'ale Adumim and Jerusalem.

Among the programs approved are the construction of 560 apartments in Maale Adumim and 200 apartments in the neighborhoods of Ramot, Har Homa and Pisgat Zeev.

Netanyahu and Lieberman also agreed on the construction of 600 new apartments for residents of the predominantly-Arab Beit Safafa neighborhood in Jerusalem.
