Itamar Gelman, whose brother, Major Eliav Gelman, was killed during a terror attack at Gush Etzion Junction, spoke with Arutz Sheva about his feelings and emotions, particularly after his sister-in-law gave birth to a child that Eliav will never see.

"The sense of joy mixed with sadness is something that we are truly experiencing. There have been important events - my sister's engagement and now the birth. With all of the sadness, the mourning and the grief -- life continues and there is also happiness, thank God."

He explained that "the birth was a little more than a week ago - and on the last day of Passover they conducted the brit in Karmei Tzur. We felt sadness and pain on the one hand, but also that life continues and that we need to pick up our heads and continue moving forward."

How can you move forward?

Eliav managed to bring together so many worlds. Both the holy and spiritual world, and also the secular world. He was successful and outstanding in all of them. We hope for ourselves and for the entire Jewish People that, if everyone could take a little of Eliav, if everyone could be a little like Eliav in his own field, that's what we would like to see."
