Natan and Ranana Meir - the husband and daughter of Dafna Meir who was murdered by a 15-year-old Arab terrorist in January at the entrance to her home in Otniel, Judea - spoke to the UN Security Council on Monday.

The two were brought to the UN in New York by the OneFamily organization that supports terror victims and Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon, who clashed with the Palestinian representative to the UN during the visit over the Palestinian's refusal to condemn terror.

In her comments, 17-year-old Ranana said, "three months ago my mother was murdered. A Palestinian teenager came into my house and killed her in front of me and my siblings."

"It is hard to express in words how deep the pain is, how unbearable the longing is for my mother, and how this longing breaks my heart and soul, and in spite of this it would never occur to me to hurt another person," she stated, saying that hatred does not justify harming others.

Natan also spoke, saying, "I believe that our Creator gave the children of Abraham the opportunity to live together in our Holy Land."

"In my heart I have love for my Arab neighbors," he added, calling for love instead of incitement.

Danon in his comments at the UN session focused on the rampant Palestinian incitement through TV and social media that played a key role in Meir's murder and the murder of many other Israelis.
