Footage of Wednesday night’s stabbing attack in Givat Ze’ev, northwest of Jerusalem, has emerged.
The video, taken from the security cameras of a nearby business, shows the terrorist following a couple on the street as they enter a restaurant at the gas station where the attack took place. Seconds later, the terrorist is seen fleeing the scene after the stabbing, and passersby begin chasing him.
The 17-year-old terrorist stabbed and seriously wounded a 40-year-old Jewish man, who was taken to the Shaarei Tzedek Hospital in Jerusalem.
The terrorist was chased down by locals who held him until police arrived. He suffered minor injuries while being neutralized and was taken to hospital.
The attack took place hours after a stabbing attack was thwarted by Israeli security officers at the Kalandia checkpoint north of Jerusalem.
