A political science professor from Hebrew University in Jerusalem attacked Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked (Jewish Home) on Monday, referring to her in a Facebook post as "neo-Nazi scum."

Dr. Ofer Cassif shared a post written by his colleague, Prof. Amiram Goldblum, blasting Shaked for the "Transparency Bill" approved Sunday by the Ministerial Committee for Legislation.

Goldblum, demanding "transparency" from Shaked, asserts the Justice Minister's election campaign was funded, in part, by "blood money" raised "in exchange for weapons sold to murderers in Sierra Leone and South America."

He is referring to Serge Muller, who has been detained in Montenegro since March on charges of international drug trafficking and money laundering.

Atop Goldblum's original post, Dr. Cassif added his own personal assault on the Justice Minister.

"In the land of my shame, Shaked is screaming," Dr. Cassif wrote. "This neo-Nazi scum is not only partially responsible for the fascisization of Israel, but is also an indirect partner to genocide in Africa and crimes against humanity."

"The dictionary has lost all words which could be used to describe this filth," he added.

In response to the incendiary posts, Hebrew University said it "is not responsible for statements made by its lecturers and it is not its job to deal with this as long as it is not an exploitation of the academic platform."

"Anyone who thinks there is incitement or a violation of the law within this or any other post should turn to law enforcement agencies."

The Justice Minister has made clear she intends to file a police complaint over the posts, asserting they crossed the "fine line between freedom of speech and incitement."
