Davidi Perl, head of the Gush Etzion regional council, responded to the stabbing attack outside a popular supermarket in the region on Wednesday, in which a woman was moderately wounded.

The victim was stabbed in the back by an Arab terrorist outside the Rami Levy supermarket branch near Gush Etzion Junction, located in the region of Judea just south of Jerusalem.

"Unfortunately stabbing attacks have become a dangerous routine that we must not get used to," warned Perl.

"The atrocious terrorist took advantage of the delicate fabric of life that exists at Gush Etzion Junction, where Palestinians shop next to (Jewish) residents of the region, and launched a stabbing assault on a shopper at the facility."

The regional head continued: "I call on the government of Israel to consider the path anew in the war on terror, to move from defense to attack, and to act with a firm and uncompromising hand against the inciters and terrorists who act under the cover of the Palestinian Authority."

Yisrael Beytenu head MK Avigdor Liberman also responded to the attacks, writing on Facebook: "We must not get used to terror!"

"Like they tried to get us used to the 'trickle' of rockets from Gaza, they are now trying to get us used to living with daily knife attacks," he said. "Both cases are serious failures on the part of a government that isn't capable of providing security to its citizens."

"We must not accept that, and must demand that the government fight terror without compromise," he concluded.

In the attack, the female victim aged in her 40s was given medical treatment and evacuated to Shaare Tzedek Hospital in Jerusalem in moderate and stable condition. The terrorist was apprehended.

Less than an hour before the stabbing in Gush Etzion, an Arab terrorist was shot dead by IDF forces after attempting to stab soldiers in the Tel Rumeida neighborhood of Hevron. The terrorist did not succeed in wounding any victims.
