The terrorists who shot and stabbed Jews on a bus in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Armon Hanatziv on Tuesday were Fatah and Hamas terrorists previously involved in attacks, the Israel Security Agency (ISA or Shin Bet) cleared for publication Tuesday.

Baha Alian, 23, a resident of Jabal Mukhaber, was a Fatah terrorist who had previously expressed pro-terrorism views. Alian was shot and killed by security forces at the scene.

The second terrorist, also a resident of Jabal Mukhaber, is a Hamas terrorist who was jailed for his involvement with the terror group in 2013-14. He has been taken into Israel Police custody for questioning after having been shot and wounded by police.

The car attack and stabbing on Malchei Yisrael street later Tuesday was carried out by Alaa Abu Jamal, 33, also a resident of Jabal Mukhaber, and is a cousin of the Har Nof terrorists.

As previously noted, he had expressed solidarity with the attackers after the massacre last November, and had also pledged allegiance to a terror network affiliated with ISIS.

The terror attacks in Ra'anana on Tuesday were carried out by a 22 year-old resident of Kafr Ekev with no organizational affiliation, and an additional resident of the same village, 28, who has a criminal arrest record but no previous links to terrorism.

Investigations into the incidents are ongoing.
