Security camera footage captured the harrowing moment on Saturday when an Arab terrorist surprised Border Police officers who were questioning him, as he suddenly whipped out a knife and stabbed one of them in the face.

The video, obtained by Arutz Sheva, reveals the officers questioning the Arab youth as he sits on a bench at the Damascus Gate of Jerusalem's Old City. The suspicions of the officers had been raised and they asked him to identify himself.

After sitting and resisting their questions for an extended period of time, he is seen just after 50 seconds pass in the video standing up, before suddenly whipping out a knife, stabbing one of the officers in the face and wounding another.

A large number of officers then quickly spring into the action, shooting the terrorist dead. However, due to the density of officers responding, another security member was shot by stray fire in the process.

The wounded were evacuated to Shaare Tzedek Hospital in Jerusalem; two were suffering from moderate wounds while the third was in serious condition.

Earlier on Saturday morning, two Jewish men about 60 years old were stabbed by a 19-year-old Arab terrorist. The incident occurred on Hanevi'im Street, near the Old City. The assailant was also shot and killed by police before he could escape.
