Just days after a Jerusalem man was murdered on Sunday on the eve of Rosh Hashanah, another Israeli man was lightly wounded on Wednesday in a similar Arab rock attack - despite Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's promises of increased deterrence the night before.

The attack on early Wednesday afternoon took place adjacent to Betar Illit, a town located southwest of Jerusalem just over the 1949 Armistice lines. It occurred at roughly the same time as Netanyahu was visiting the site of Sunday's murder in Jerusalem and vowing a harsher crackdown.

In the attack Arab terrorists threw a rock at an Israeli car, causing heavy damage to the windshield.

The driver was lightly wounded and suffered from shock, but fortunately he did not lose control of the vehicle and thereby avoided possibly life-threatening injury.

After being treated at the site, the man did not required further medical treatment at a hospital. The terrorists have yet to be apprehended.

In the attack on Sunday, Alexander Levlovitz (64) of Jerusalem's southeastern Armon Hanatziv neighborhood was murdered by Arab terrorists who threw a rock through his car's window and made him crash.

Furious residents of the neighborhood protested on Tuesday night after the end of Rosh Hashanah, where they complained that the deterioration of the security situation needs to change immediately.

As the rock attack on Wednesday illustrates, Arab rock throwing attacks continue despite Netanyahu's statements vowing harsher punishments for the attacks, as do violent Arab riots on the Temple Mount.

Jerusalem Councilman Arieh King patrolled the Arab hotbeds of terror in Jerusalem late on Tuesday night and reported that the police presence is completely absent still, despite Netanyahu's promises of increased security.
