Thousands of people gathered this week to participate in the main event of the CHAZAQ organization in Queens, New York. The event featured rabbis and other public figures.

CHAZAQ, the largest Jewish organization of its kind in the United States, is based out of Flushing. It aims to prevent assimilation among Jews throughout the United States.

Event organizers said the goal of this particular event was to strengthen the awareness of the danger assimilation poses to American Jews.

Among the public figures who came to speak at the event was famous Hasidic singer Avraham Fried. Fried welcomed Arutz Sheva visitors and wished them a "Happy Passover."
