Jewish Home Chairman Naftali Bennett voted in the 20th Knesset elections on Tuesday, after praying for the success of the State of Israel.

"This morning I put on tefillin [phylacteries - ed.] and prayed that Israel will be united and strong," Bennett told the press shortly after voting.

"Today is our day - of all those who love the Land of Israel, of all those who love the soldiers, this is our day. Today Israel is rearing its head."

Bennett also remembered MK Uri Orbach at the vote.

"I miss him very much," he said. "In the past he said Jewish Home is the bridge - not one that we step on, what that connects people."

"Today the people of Israel connect," he added.
