Deputy Minister Tzipi Hotovely has officially not been placed in a realistic spot in the Likud’s Knesset list, a final recount of votes determined on Sunday.

After a close race, it was determined that former minister Avi Dichter defeated Hotovely by only 55 votes. 20,892 Likud members voted for Dichter, while 20,837 voted for Hotovely. The results are official but can be appealed for up to a week from when they were announced.

The recount also found that MKs Danny Danon and Yariv Levin had been ranked in different spots on the list than originally thought, in the 9th and 10th spots respectively.

The Likud list for the 20th Knesset is now as follows:

1. Binyamin Netanyahu
2. Gilad Erdan
3. Yuli Edelstein
4. Yisrael Katz
5. Miri Regev
6. Silvan Shalom
7. Moshe Ya’alon
8. Ze’ev Elkin
9. Danny Danon
10. Yariv Levin
11. Reserved for a candidate of Netanyahu’s choice
12. Tzahi Hanegbi
13. Yuval Steinitz
14. Gila Gamliel
15. Ofir Akunis
16. David Bitan (Shphela region representative)
17. Haim Katz
18. Jackie Levy (Galilee region representative)
19. Yoav Kish (Dan region representative)
20. Avi Dichter
21. David Amsallem (Jerusalem region representative)
22. Miki Zohar (Negev region representative)
23. Reserved for a candidate of Netanyahu’s choice
24. Ayoub Kara (non-Jewish sector’s representative)
25. Nava Boker

The recount was required due to counting mistakes made in the central city of Modi'in and Yarka, a Druze village northeast of Akko in northern Israel. Apparently, due to human error, the number of votes entered written down does not match the actual number of votes cast at these polling stations.
