After traveling to London to push for a non-binding vote recognizing the Palestinian Authority (PA) as the "state of Palestine" last month, radical Arab MK Ahmed Tibi (United Arab List) is now in the Belgian parliament demanding sanctions against the Jewish state on whose Knesset he serves.

"In Israel an extremist government rules that is backed by an even more extremist Knesset," Tibi claimed while speaking at the Belgian parliament on Thursday, reports Yediot Aharonoth.

The extremist Arab MK continued, calling some of Israel's politicians "pyromaniacs who need to be reined in," and claiming "they are capable of setting Jerusalem ablaze without thinking about the results."

And then Tibi, a citizen of Israel and member of its Knesset, called on Belgian parliamentarians to implement sanctions against Israel, so as to stop "settlement construction" and demonstrate against how Israel is "a democracy for the Jews and a racist discriminatory state towards its Arab citizens."

The call by Tibi, who has a history of vile abusive language, comes at a time when European Union (EU) officials said last month they are "frustrated" that Israel is not bending to their political designs on it, and are plotting punitive measures against the Jewish state.

It also comes after the UK - urged by Tibi - and Sweden have moved to recognize "Palestine," and Belgium's neighbor France is considering following suit.

After Tibi's push for "Palestine" in London last month, MK Miri Regev (Likud) wrote to the attorney general calling for Tibi to be dismissed for his "insolent" trip to England.

"If he wants to represent himself privately as Ahmed Tibi, he must resign from his position and fly to Britain privately, and convince whoever he wants," reasoned Regev.
