In the wake of last week’s attempt on the life of Temple Mount activist Yehuda Glick, a number of threats on other Temple activists have emerged on Islamic social media sites.

A post on the Temple Institute's Facebook page displays a graphic that features the names and photos of 15 individuals, including Glick, which was taken from Islamist pages.

The Temple Institute’s founder, Rabbi Yisrael Ariel, and its International Director, Rabbi Chaim Richman, are included in this list. The bottom of the graphic features a caption in Hebrew that reads: "We, the Muslims, will not allow anyone to touch Al Aqsa. Your actions are liable to drag the entire region into war. The Al Aqsa mosque is for Muslims only, and we will not allow you to control it."

The Temple Institute notes: “The Israel Police have been notified.”

Rabbi Chaim Richman wrote in response to the graphic: “We will continue to educate the people of Israel and the world, that the future peace of all mankind can only be realized with the rebuilding of the Holy Temple on the Temple Mount. We will increase our visits to the Temple Mount to peacefully pray there, and no amount of threats or intimidation can extinguish 2,000 years of Jewish yearning and hope.”
