Givati Brigade soldiers operating inside Gaza identified and shot dead five terrorists on Tuesday afternoon as they exited a terror tunnel. No Israeli casualties were reported.

The IDF soldiers discovered hordes of weapons on site, including Kalashnikov rifles, machine guns, and explosive devices.

The thwarted attacked occurred as Hamas denied reports it had accepted a "unilateral ceasefire".

Earlier on Tuesday morning, artillery forces identified the firing of an anti-tank missile in their direction. The forces returned fire to the source of the fire. No IDF forces were wounded.

Since midnight (Monday night), IDF forces have attacked over 110 terrorist hotspots. Over 3,100 terrorist targets have been hit by IDF forces wince the start of the ground operation.

During the past few hours, rockets have continued to be fired into Israel and IDF activity in the Gaza Strip has continued as well.

IDF forces hung signs on Tuesday afternoon in southern Gaza, calling to the residents of Khan Yunis’ western neighborhoods to evacuate immediately. The residents were also made aware of the evacuation notices via telephone calls.
