Gaza terrorists fired a rocket Thursday evening at Ashkelon. It exploded in an open area south of the city. No one was hurt.

Earlier reports said that the Iron Dome anti-missile system had intercepted one of two rockets over Ashkelon, but the IDF said that no interceptions were recorded. It is not clear whether another rocket was fired and, if so, where it exploded.

Earlier Thursday, a Color Red siren sounded in the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council following rocket fire at the region. No one was hurt and no damage was reported.

On Tuesday, a rocket was fired at the Eshkol Regional Council in the northwestern Negev. It exploded in an open space. A siren had been sounded before the missile struck. No one was hurt and there was no damage.
