An advisor to American businessman Donald Trump spoke to Arutz Sheva in an exclusive interview regarding the 2016 presidential elections and the special bond between Israel and the United States.

"Donald Trump is a good friend of Israel and, unlike the president, knows how to handle the issue of the Middle East," Sam Nunberg told Arutz Sheva, regarding Trump’s possible run for the presidency.

"Trump is a very close friend of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu," he said.

Trump said in an interview that Trump has always conveyed a clear message to Israel.

“You should be proud of your leader regarding the security interests of the State of Israel,” he added.

Nunberg also commended Deputy Defense Minister Danny Danon saying, "he does so much for the safety of Israeli citizens."

Trump, an astute businessman whose name has become a global brand, has amassed a fortune estimated in 2009 by Forbes magazine in the amount of $2 billion.

According to a repot in the New York Post in May, Trump has spent more than $1 million on electoral research for a potential presidential run in 2016.
