The Palestinian Authority provides parents with cartoons that teach children to destroy Israel, even though PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has said that evidence of incitement against Israel is outdated.

The Palestine Media Watch (PMW) has published and translated a recent article from the official Palestinian Authority daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida,   complete with a cartoon of a mother saying to her children, under the word “Palestine,” “This is your bride...When you grow up you will know the dowry."

The cartoon includes a map showing that all of Israel is Palestinian Authority territory.

Palestinian Media Watch has reported dozens of examples of incitement, one of the more recent ones a speech by Minister of Social Affairs Majida Al-Masri that unity between Fatah and Hamas is needed for "the liberation of Palestine - all of Palestine.”

One cartoon shows Fatah and Hamas “fighters” joined together to form the shape of the map of Israel, with a Palestinian Authority flag above the map.

Abbas has told American officials that examples of incitement against Israel are outdated and also has continued to state that he wants an independent Palestinian Authority country alongside Israel.

The Palestinian Authority is committed by previous agreements to halt incitement, and several key U.S. Congressmen have highlighted school text books that continue to encourage terrorism and the denial of Jewish rights to any part of Israel.
