MK Otniel Schneller (Kadima) told Arutz Sheva Sunday that his party, Kadima, is on its way down and out.

"The Kadima party is in a very complex crossroad," he said, "first of all because of [a lack of] moral rectitude in the way the party conducts itself. In addition there are investigations, the treasurer is under arrest…"

Schneller spoke of attempts to stifle faction members. "Kadima enforces thoughts," he said, and noted that Kadima MKs were instructed recently to vote against several bills sponsored or co-sponsored by fellow Kadima members. A case in point was the decision to vote against the law that would raise the fine for defamation – that was co-sponsored by Kadima MK Meir Sheetrit.

MKs Shaul Mofaz, Avi Dichter and Sheetrit sent a letter to Kadima chairwoman Tzipi Livni demanding that the primaries for the post of party leader be held soon.
