Tamir Pardo, a former Mossad chief, spoke at a conference hosted by the Netanya Academic College, claiming that, "the State of Israel has chosen to operate its self-destruct mechanism."
According to him, "It is unthinkable that the opposition should prevent laws from passing. A political view that makes a point of paralyzing any government activity does not meet the rules of the social agreement upon which every democratic government is based."
