Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz agreed with senior Ministry of Health and Chairman of the Constitution Committee MK Gilad Kariv not to extend the special health status, and it will expire tomorrow at midnight.
It should be noted that the obligation to fill out a COVID-19 health form upon entering Israel will remain in force.
According to Minister Horowitz: "Just as we promised, the Corona Law will not remain in place even a day beyond the required limit. It is a direct continuation of our government policy from the very start. It turns out it's possible [to defeat the virus] without hurting people's civil rights."
