Chairman of Yisrael Beytenu, Finance Minister Avigdor Liberman, in an extensive interview to be published in Israel Hashavua, said he believes the government will succeed in passing the state budget.
"If there is a desire to continue it will be possible to transfer a budget [but] if everyone starts building ideological excuses for disbanding the government, it will disintegrate," he said.
Liberman argues that the key interest is the preservation of the current government.
Regarding his partnership with the Ra'am party (United Arab List), he was quoted as saying: "Netanyahu met Abbas four times during last year's 'Guardian of the Walls' operation in Gaza [but] accuses [him] of being a terror supporter. I keep showing Likud officials footage of Netanyahu telling people in Nazareth how good he is to the Arabs and how much money he's given them."
