Police officers from the vice department of the Tel Aviv District Central Unit arrested a 52-year-old Kfar Saba resident on suspicion of trafficking in human beings for the purpose of prostitution. His detention was extended by five days.
The suspect brought foreign nationals to Israel and employed them in providing prostitution services to Israelis in hotels in the center of the country.
During the covert investigation, a 28-year-old Brazilian woman was found to have been brought in for prostitution in Israel. In addition, the man is suspected of sexual offenses against the woman as well as supplying drugs for her.
