Russian President Putin spoke by telephone with Italian Prime Minister Draghi. Putin has expressed readiness to help resolve the food crisis if the West lifts sanctions.
According to a Reuters report, Putin said Russia was ready to export grain and fertilizers in response to the crisis, and told Draghi that Russia was ready to continue supplying gas to Italy.
