Following the raising of a Palestinian flag at a demonstration at Ben Gurion University, Finance Minister Avigdor Liberman has stated that he is examining the possibility of cutting the government budget allotted to the institution.
"We will not tolerate events such as that held yesterday at Ben Gurion University," said Liberman. "At this demonstration, things were said that negated the existence of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state."
