The Central Election Commission for the Histadrut Labor Federation on Tuesday night approved the results of the elections for the institutions of the Histadrut and Naamat.
More than 254,000 eligible voters exercised their right to vote. The final turnout was 42.3%.
The elected chairman of the Histadrut is Arnon Bar-David, who received about 78% of the votes, and won by a margin of about 140,000 votes over Ofer Eini, who ran against him for the position and finished with about 22% of the vote.
