Minister of the Interior, MK Ayelet Shaked announced today that Ukrainian passport holders staying in Israel on a valid residence permit prior to the outbreak of the war or ones who entered the country legally after its outbreak on February 26 will have their permits extended until June 30, 2022 without being required to register at the Population Authority.
These refugees or individuals employing them will not have legal action taken against them.
Ukrainian nationals living in Israel illegally before the start of the war will not be expelled from the country until June 30, 2022, but will also not be allowed to work without a permit of entry.
