The Israel Institute for Biological Research has confirmed that a man hospitalized at Ichilov Hospital was diagnosed with monkeypox, Ynet reported.
The Staff for Management of Pandemics will meet Saturday evening to discuss the possibility of an outbreak in Israel. Experts in LGBT health have been invited to the meeting, due to the especially widescale outbreak among men who have intimate relations with other men.
