Israel Hayom reported that Meretz chairman and Minister of Health, Nitzan Horowitz has faced sharp criticism by members of his party, following the resignation of MK Rinawie Zoabi from the coalition.
A senior Meretz official told the newspaper that: "This is a personal failure of Horowitz. He provided her an automatic seat in the party at the cost of pushing aside veteran MKs, including Issawi Frej, Mosi Raz and Michal Rosin without conducting any background checks or talking to people who worked with her in the past."
