MK Moshe Gafni, head of the UTJ party and a former Finance Committee chairman, has issued a scathing attack against the government.

"I have nothing good to say about this evil government," he told the Maariv newspaper in an interview. "We have to get rid of it as soon as possible. Look at the prices of food, fuel, property tax, homes. What are they doing about it? Sure, they passed a budget, and true, Bibi didn't pass a budget - but their budget is a bad budget."

Asked to comment on the likelihood of new elections, Gafni said, "I want a new government to be formed and I don't care who heads it. Right now, the preferred candidate is Netanyahu and I support him. If the only way to get rid of this government is via elections, then that's what we should do."
