The Merom Hagalil Regional Council announced on Tuesday night that, following an assessment of the situation carried out by the Israel Police, it was decided to move up the activity of setting up checkpoints in the area around Meron.
Residents of the Merom Hagalil Regional Council will be able to cross the relevant checkpoints and entire their locality by presenting identity cards.
