The Likud party has struck back after being attacked by members of the Yamina party for allegedly working to block a law that would provide stipends for higher education to discharged soldiers who served in combat units.
"This fraudulent and deceitful government headed by Bennett, which is dependent on Israel-haters such as Ra'am and the Joint List for its survival, is incapable of passing a single Zionist piece of legislation," the party responded.
"Instead of whining, Bennett should resign. The Likud party supports 100 percent funding for soldiers, which can easily be found by withdrawing the 50 billion shekels that Bennett just gave to [Ra'am party head] Mansour Abbas."
