Speaking at a conference today, Immigration and Absorption Minister Penina Tamano-Shatta stressed that the flow of immigrants into the country continues, contrary to public perception.
"The great error made by Israeli society is thinking that aliyah has stopped," she said. "In fact, since the start of the COVID epidemic, over 70 thousand people have immigrated."
