The Blue and White Party is working to put the Equality Bill to a vote in the Ministerial Committee in a week's, which aims to add the value of equality as a right to the Fundamental Law of Human Dignity and Liberty - as a complement to the Nationality Law and in response to the Druze protest.
Under the coalition agreement, Fundamental Laws require the consent of all coalition factions, but are opposed by right wing parties.
