Public Security Minister Omer Barlev condemned the incident in which MK Ahmed Tibi was documented allowing a suspect that the police were trying to arrest - to escape.
"I view as very serious the behavior of MK Ahmed Tibi, who today interrupted police officers in Jerusalem from carrying out their duties. Israeli police officers operate in a complex reality, and the attempt to disrupt their work is intolerable - certainly when it comes to a Knesset member who abuses his immunity," said Barlev.
