As part of the investigation into the contamination at the Strauss plant, the Ministry of Health is also investigating suspicions of contamination at in milk powder produced by food manufacturer Tnuva.
The product is not sold to the public, and is it marketed instead as an ingredient for further processing. Tests of final products including this milk powder have so far being free of contamination. The Health Ministry stated that the investigation is nevertheless ongoing.
