The Likud responded to the statement of Ra'am chairman Mansour Abbas, acording to which Opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu was also dependent on the decisions of the Shura Council.
"We have never been and will never be dependent on the Shura Council for a government under our leadership in the State of Israel," the Likud said.
