The State Prosecution has submitted an appeal to the Supreme Court regarding the leniency of the sentence handed down to a person convicted of throwing rocks and stones at passers-by in Jerusalem.
The sentence handed down by judges was just 30 months in prison.
"We should be delivering a sharp, clear message that violent attacks motivated by nationalist, racist ideology will be considered grave attacks with a severe punishment," the language of the appeal noted.
