Following an undercover operation, Israel Police have arrested 21 suspects from the Arab sector for criminal operations.
The men are suspected of committing crimes including extortion, money-laundering, obtaining items using deception, and using false documents and false accounts.
The scope of their crimes is believed to have reached around half a billion shekels.
Several building contractors are among the detainees, as well as car-hire operators.
